In a post-COVID 19 world, in Africa, we are experimenting with uBuntu Payments for Sustainability Practices. Here unemployed rural community people are paid, via mobile phone technology (land-lines and computers don't work there), for any work they do, related to water, that is for the common benefit (uBuntu). Issues addressed include monitoring sanitation issues, fixing freshwater leaks, collecting solid waste (litter) from streams and rivers and even door-to-door education and street theatre (drama) for raising awareness.  People can work in their own neighbourhood, in isolation or isolated small groups, so are not at to be at risk from viruses.

We would like to communicate with any people who are exploring a post-COVID 19 reality!  Jim Taylor and Ayanda Lepheana jimtaylor835@gmail.com
