Dear Delegates,

As you may have seen, we are organising two webinars in this track, and in both I am planning to launch a poll of five quick questions. I am currious about your answers and comments, especially if you are not going to attend these webinars. You can just respond by giving your answers or also add some comments. Abreviations: LIC, MIC, HIC = low/mddle/high income countries, respectivelly

Capacity to deal with water issues is growing in the South (LIC and MIC) based on the assitance from the North (HIC).

b - water problems 70%,  sanitation problems 30%

c - water problems 50%,  sanitation problems 50%

d - water problems 30%,  sanitation problems 70%

e - water problems 10%,  sanitation problems 90%

5. Where are the WATSAN problems growing the fastest in the South?

a - The action is mostly needed in URBAN areas

b - The action is mostly needed in PERI-URBAN areas

c - The action is mostly needed in RURAL areas

Sanitation is not "sexy" for politicians and it is difficult for NGOs so it is still lagging behind although interest is growing.
