In April 2017 Rotary Club Rotterdam-Botlek decidede to help family in Christ Mission Holland (FCMH) with funds for a proejct called 'reducing the incidence of water related infections on water and sanitation in Mbaya Musuma in Zambia' near Mbaya Rural Health Centre, located about 45 km from Mazabuka Town, situated in Chivuna Ward. Rotary Club Rotterdam-Botelk opted for a Global Grant through Rotary Foundation International (RFI). RFI supports projects providing clean water, preventing diseases and others. This requires a local Rotary Club, Rotary Club Lusaka-Central. Together with the health centre the focus was on driling 15 boreholes with handpumps for clean drinking water in several locations of Mbaya Musma area to reduce non-blood diarrhoea cases affecting all age groups.
